In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that the meeting held great significance as it would actively contribute to the work of Party building and the building of clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet their task requirements in the new situation.

Over the past decade, MPS has attached much importance to leading the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05 and the Public Security Central Party Committee’s Regulation No. 09; as a result, the work has achieved a large number of positive results.

Thanks to these efforts, most public security officers and Party members have demonstrated firm political resolve, had a strong sense of responsibility, and become more decent, disciplined, honorable and dedicated at work as well as in serving the Fatherland and the people.

At the meeting, delegates highlighted the achieved results, identified existing shortcomings, and shared lessons learned from the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style”.

They also proposed approaches to enhance the effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style as well as implementing his Six Teachings across the Public Security Forces in the time ahead.

Addressing the meeting, General Secretary To Lam commended the Public Security Forces for their accomplishments in the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style,” as well as in practicing his Six Teachings.

He urged MPS to develop specific and practical approaches to turn the work of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s model into a cultural need of every public security officer and a regular  practice across all public security units.

The General Secretary also stressed the need to closely link the efforts of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s model with the broader goals of building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces, and strengthening the “All People Protect National Security” movement, contributing to spreading the values of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style throughout society and reinforcing Party building efforts in the new era.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the entire Public Security Forces, Minister Luong Tam Quang sincerely thanked the Party and State’s leaders, particularly General Secretary To Lam, for their special concern and care for the Public Security Forces.

He affirmed that MPS would continue to develop and implement action plans to embed Ho Chi Minh’s values into every aspect of public security work, creating profound changes in thought and action of the entire Public Security Forces, significantly contributing to the Party’s revolutionary cause in the new era.
