Presidential Office receives noble medal

PSNews-The Presidential Office organized a ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of its reestablishment (September 25, 1992) and receive the Ho Chi Minh Order.

The event was attended by State President Tran Dai Quang, former State Presidents Le Duc Anh, Tran Duc Luong and Truong Tan sang; Deputy State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh; former Deputy State President Nguyen Thi Binh, Truong My Hoa, Nguyen Thi Doan; leaders of various ministries, Central agencies and localities; former leaders of the Presidential Office; and generations of officials of the Office.

On behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, State President Tran Dai Quang solemnly pinned the Ho Chi Minh Order onto the traditional flag of the Presidential Office, to recognize the great achievements of generations of leaders, officers and workers of the Office in the past 70 years.

State President Tran Dai Quang stressed that on September 25, 1992, the Presidential Office was officially reestablished, but it has now had a 70-year history of development. During different revolutionary periods, the agency had different names but it has mainly functioned  as a staff of the State President, Deputy State President, supporting them in implementing their tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Party, State and People.

State President Tran Dai Quang stated that during the glorious journey of more than 70 years, especially in the past 25 years, the Presidential Office has been growing in terms of organizational structure, function and mission, while its working regime has constantly been improved. Generations of leaders, officials and workers of the Presidential Office have always been loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, and upheld sense of responsibility, creativity and innovation in training, self-improvement and work. Many officers of the office have set good examples of loyalty and devotion to work.

The State President requested the Presidential Office to continue to renovate profoundly and comprehensively renovation their thinking and task performance; raise the quality and efficiency of research work, actively advise the State President and Deputy State President on policies, laws and solutions to national development and defense in the context of globalization and international integration. The State President also asked the Office to proactively coordinate with concerned agencies to mobilize scientists, experts and managers to give advice on major national projects, schemes and studies on economics, culture, society, law, defense, security and foreign affairs.
