Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visits Tra Linh border gate

 During his working trip to Cao Bang, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the Tra Linh International Border Gate and inspected the project to upgrade the border gate, on the afternoon of January 1, 2024.

The pair of Tra Linh Border Gate (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China) was upgraded to an international border gate by the Government of Vietnam and China on December 28, 2023, which has been seen as a move to make a practical contribution to the building of the Vietnam - China land border of peace, friendship, cooperation and developmentt.

Over the past years, the Vietnamese forces responsible for the border gate have successfully completed all assigned tasks and seriously complied with Vietnam’s policy to strengthen coordination, cooperation and solidarity and unity with the Chinese side.

During the visit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries, branches, border localities and armed forces, including the police, army, border guards to draw up specific plans to implement the agreements signed between senior leaders of the two countries.
