According to reports at the meeting, in the first half of 2025, the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee as well as its affiliated Party committees and leaders of public security units at all levels demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility in directing the Public Security Forces to take the lead in effectively implementing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies.

Thanks to the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Public Security Forces successfully fulfilled their missions of safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety, actively contributing to the country’s development.

Addressing the meeting, General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hailed the great effort and outstanding achievements of the Public Security Central Party Committee the Ministry of Public Security over the first half of 2025.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested that the Public Security Forces thoroughly grasp the security and order situation in the country, thereby actively advising the Party, the State and the Government on strategic policies to safeguard national security and maintain social order and safety as well as draft a legal framework to attract talents to serve in the Public Security Forces.

Additionally, the Prime Minister called on the Public Security Central Party Committee to further promote the “For National Security” emulation movement, while directing the Public Security Forces to make continuous effort to effectively combat all types of crime and legal violations.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Public Security Central Party Committee continue to take the lead in Party building as well as in realizing the Party’s four strategic resolutions, while accelerating the reduction of administrative procedures, the disbursement of public investment and the development of databases to raise the quality of public services.

In his remarks, President Luong Cuong stressed that the Public Security Forces should maintain socio-political stability, foster a peaceful and orderly urban environment, work closely with relevant agencies and units to make careful preparations for the 14th National Party Congress as well as ensure policies for public security officers, enlistees and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.

Concluding the meeting, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Public Security Forces have continued playing an exemplary role in implementing the Party’s policies and guidelines, excellently fulfilling the missions of safeguarding national security, ensuring absolute safety for major political events and combating various types of crime.

Regarding the work orientations of the Public Security Forces for the second half of the year, the General Secretary emphasized that the Public Security Forces should maintain a stable secure environment - the prerequisite condition for the entire Party, people and armed forces join efforts to achieve the Party’s strategic goals.
