Public security officers, soldiers nationwide vote deputies to NA, People’ Council seats

PSNews - Voters across Vietnam, including thousands of public security officers and soldiers, on May 23casted their ballots to elect deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA)and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-26 tenure.

Minister To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, together with several other members of the Politburo, namely Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh casted their ballots at Polling Station No.6 (Quan Thanh ward (Ba Dinh district, Hanoi).

Meanwhile, at Polling Station No.7 (in Tran Huong Dao ward, Hoan Kiem district), a large number of public security voters, including Deputy Minster Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister Major General Le Quoc Hung, and Deputy Minister Major General Le Tan Toi, also exercised their voting right.

On the morning of the same day, three other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, namely Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, and Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, casted their ballots at the polling stations in their residences.

*The 15th National Assembly Election is an important political event of the country, contributing to further building, consolidating and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state belonging to the people, built by the people and serving the people the people.

The People's Public Security Forces, as key forces in ensuring security and order for the election, have implemented various plans and measures to safeguard the event. At the same time, all public security leaders, officers and soldiers have fulfilled their civil rights and duties by casting their votes to select deputies for the new-tenure NA and People’s Councils at all levels.
