Senior Party members of Public Security Forces presented with 40-year and 30-year Party Membership badges

The Public Security Central Party Committee held a ceremony on August 18 to honor senior Party members of the Public Security Forces, on the occasion of the 76th Founding Day of the Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – 2021).

The event saw the presence of Politburo Member and State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, General To Lam, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security and other leaders, former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

51 senior Party members were presented with 40-year Party Membership badges and 30-year Party Membership badges at the event.

General To Lam and Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong were honored with the 40-year Party Membership badge.

 President Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulates the Public Security Forces on the 76th Founding Day. 

Speaking at the event, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc e congratulated the awardees on their noble medals as well as all public security officers and soldiers on the occasion of the 76th Founding Day of the Public Security Forces.

State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc also sent regards to the police officers working on the frontline of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

He believed that all officers, soldiers and Party members of the Public Security Forces, regardless of their working positions, will continue to train themselves and set examples for other Party members and people to follow.

Making remarks at the event, Public Security Minister General To Lam expressed his gratitude to Uncle Ho, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State and the people as well as to the Vietnamese heroes and martyrs who had sacrificed for national independence and freedom, the peace and happiness of the people.

Minister To Lam appreciated the efforts of all public security officers over the past time in protecting national security, maintaining public order, and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting that they have contributed significantly to the glorious tradition of the Public Security Forces and heroic history of Vietnam.
