The leadership of the detention center reported that they briefed all officers and inmates on the content of the amnesty shortly after the State President announced a decision on special amnesty of 2021.

Leaders of the prison also reported that since the COVID-19 pandemic first broke out in early 2020, the prison has strictly implemented measures against the pandemic. So far, none of officers and inmates have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

It has also developed plans to respond to possible pandemic outbreaks in the prison, purchasing quick test kits, chemicals and medical supplies, preparing hospital beds for patients and carrying out vaccinations for its staff.
