State President Vo Van Thuong inspects combat readiness at the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command

President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong visited and inspected combat readiness at the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command, on the morning of February 5, 2024, in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Vo Van Thuong sent his warm regards and best New Year wishes to all officers and soldiers of the Security Guard Force, and praised the outstanding achievements and important contributions of the Security Guard Force in 2023 and in recent years.

Regarding the force’s major tasks in the coming time, President Vo Van Thuong requested that the Security Guard Command continue to study the Law on Security Guard to advise relevant agencies to perfect it, creating a favorable legal corridor for the force’s operations while striving to build the Security Guard Force to meet task requirements in the current context.

Showing his empathy for the officers and soldiers who are on duty during the traditional lunar New Year festival, the President asked the Security Guard Command to take due and care of them, and organize a joyful New Year celebration for them.

At the meeting with officers and soldiers of the command, President Vo Van Thuong stated that the Mobile Police Force is an important force of the People's Public Security Forces, as it has a high standing combat function and responsibilities for national security, social order and safety in the country.

In recent years, under the leadership of the Party and State, and directly of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the Mobile Police Force has achieved many important victories in implementing its tasks.

President Vo Van Thuong underlined that Tet is an opportunity for everyone to reunite with their family, but the Mobile Police Force has to be on duty.

The Mobile Police Command should have an appropriate plan to dispatch troops to all regions of the country to be ready to respond to any situations to arise.

The President requested the Mobile Police Command to fully implement policies and take care of their spiritual and material lives so that on-duty officers can feel the warmth on the first spring days.
