Auditor General of the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) Ho Duc Phoc had a meeting with Auditor General of the Chinese National Audit Office (CNAO) Hu Zejun on July 22 in the framework of the 54th Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) Governing Board Meeting in Kuwait.

The hosting of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI 14) is seen as a major landmark external event, affirming the important standing of the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) in the region and the wider world.

On the sidelines of the 14th assembly of the ASOSAI in Hanoi, Malaysia Auditor General and Chair of ASOSAI 2015-18 Dr Madinah Binti Mohamad talked to Viet Nam News, an English language newspaper of VNA, about cooperation activities between member countries’ audit agencies and the importance of environmental audit.

The theme “Environmental Auditing for Sustainable Development" is one of the important contents of the agenda of the ongoing 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in Hanoi as it clarifies the role of environmental auditing in supporting governments to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs).

The 52nd Governing Board Meeting as part of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Associations of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI 14) was held in Hanoi on September 18 under the chair of Madinah Binti Mohamad, General Auditor of Malaysia- Chair of ASOSAI 13.

 General Auditor Ho Duc Phoc has highlighted the hosting of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI 14) as a good opportunity for the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) to learn from experience in boosting constant reforms for the improvement of the auditing quality.

Vietnamese Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc held talks with his Malaysian counterpart Madinal Binti Mohamad who is in Vietnam to attend the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).

The preparation for the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) this September has been basically completed, announced the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV).
