The contributions made by President Ho Chi Minh to Vietnam’s freedom and independence as well as to the communist ideal and world peace and justice were highlighted at a meeting in Santiago de Chile, the capital of Chile, on May 19 on the occasion of the late leader’s 129th birthday (May 19).

The most outstanding young people in the campaign of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example were honoured at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on May 19. 

“Le hoi Lang Sen” (Sen Village Festival 2018) began in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the central province of Nghe An on May 17 as part of activities to mark the 128th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).

St. Petersburg city authority on May 17 held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s first visit to Russia (June 30, 1923-2018). 

A wide range of activities to celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
