Vietnam recorded 12,012 new coronavirus infections on April 18, a fall of nearly 2,700 cases compared to the previous day, the Ministry of Health announced in its coronavirus update.
A total 20,076 new COVID-19 infections were recorded on April 15 across 61 cities and provinces nationwide, marking a fall of 2,936 from the previous day, the Ministry of Health reported.
The Health Ministry confirmed an additional 24,623 new daily COVID-19 infections, and nearly 14,000 recoveries on April 13.
The Health Ministry reported the detection of a further 16,378 positive COVID-19 cases on January 15, with Hanoi continuing to record the highest number of local infections at 2,810.
The Ministry of Health reported on November 22 the detection of a further 10,321 new COVID-19 infections across 58 provinces and cities nationwide, an increase of 417 from the previous day.
