Carrying disaster relief to the Northern provinces seriously affected by Typhoon No.3, the Public Security Youth Union, Women’s Union and Trade Union visited forces participating in relief, search and rescue operations and presented necessities to people in affected provinces including Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai, on September 11th, 2024.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang sent a letter to encourage all police officers and enlistees and members of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level working in disaster relief, search and rescue operations, on September 12th, 2024.

As reported earlier by the PSNews, Storm No.5 triggered heavy rains and floods in Tay Giang district, Quang Nam, on September 18, causing various damages.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue has asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to supply 300 tonnes of rice seedlings from the national reserve as a relief aid to help Lao people restore production in the post-natural disaster time.
