With its rich agricultural ecosystem, where each region boasts unique produce, culinary traditions, and farming practices, Vietnam is well positioned to develop and expand the farm-to-table model. Cities and provinces, such as Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Da Nang, Hue, Can Tho, Lam Dong, and Vinh Long, are already embracing the model as part of their green tourism strategies.

The growing trend of green tourism and rural tourism experience is anticipated to thrive in the near future as it starts to replace traditional tourism services at hotels and resorts, according to Ngo Hoai Chung, deputy director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

The year of 2016 witnessed impressive growth of the Vietnamese tourism industry, with a strong increase in both domestic and international tourists.
