PSNews - Several activities including a fashion show and art exhibition will be held within the upcoming Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival.

Thousands of people participated in the 2023 Hanoi dragon boat racing festival, which was held around West Lake in Hanoi on October 7.

PSNews - The first “Ao dai connects Hanoi's tourism and heritage” program was launched in September at Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site.

Hanoi welcomed about 640,000 tourists, including 41,000 foreigners, during the four-day National Day holiday, up 51% compared to the same period last year, according to the city's Tourism Department.

PSNews – The Cable News Network (CNN) of the United States has announced its broadcast schedule for three 30-second Hanoi promotion videos. 

The 2017 Global Destinations Cities Index produced by credit card company Mastercard said foreign arrivals in the city grew at 16.4 percent between 2009 and 2016, the fastest after Osaka, Chengdu, Colombo, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta and Tokyo.

The opening ceremony of a “Golden Tour” to discover Hanoi and the launch of a new tourism product themed “Hanoi’s Traditional Fondness of Learning” was held at the Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi on October 10.

PSNews - So far, the Hanoi tourism promotion project has completed its first phase, in which 12 shot films from 1-5 minutes and one 30 minute film have been screened on the CNN channel. These shots have received good feedbacks from audiences.

Officials of the Hanoi Department of Tourism met on November 11 with businesspeople and journalists from the Republic of Korea (RoK), who are on a fact-finding trip to the city, to discuss ways to boost tourism cooperation between the two countries.
