#New-style rural building

The National Target Programme on New-style Rural Area Building for 2018 has achieved its set targets three months earlier than planned, said Nguyen Minh Tien, head of the programme’s Central Coordination Office.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a project to develop new-style rural areas in extremely difficulty and insecurity-prone communes and those meeting less than five new-style rural criteria in the northern mountainous province of Bac Kan from 2018 – 2020.

Hai Phong - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged Vinh Bao District in the northern port city of Hai Phong to exert all-out efforts to become a new-style rural district soon. 

Members of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Assembly (NA) discussed a report on the NA’s supervision over the national target programme on new-style rural area building during their meeting on October 5.
