Attending the congress are 1,586 delegates representing more than 5.6 million Party members nationwide. Of these, 163 are ex officio delegates (accounting for 10.28%); 353 are elected delegates (22.25%); and 1,070 are appointed delegates (67.47%).

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired the opening session of the Vietnam - Asia DX Summit 2023 themed “Driving economic growth enabled by digital data mining and smart connectivity” in Hanoi on May 24.

A total 1,587 delegates representing more than 5 million Party members nationwide are attending the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), which officially kicked off in Hanoi on January 26.
