The recent visit to Russia by President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has created a new motivation for the two countries’ all-round strategic partnership, affirmed researchers and scholars at a recent roundtable marking the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership.
During the President Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s Russia visit from November 29 to December 2, the two countries issued a joint statement on the Vision of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Russia until 2030.
President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his entourage arrived at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow on November 29 afternoon (local time), beginning a four-day official visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung arrived in Russia for an official visit from September 17 to 22.
