Tea exports record double-digit growth in 2022
Tea exports in the fourth quarter of 2022 amounted to 54,000 tonnes, bringing in US$79 million, up 53.6% in volume and 30.3% in value compared to the same period from last year.

Australia imported a total of six tonnes of tea worth US$74,000 from Vietnam during the opening six months of the year, representing year-on-year increases of 62.1% in volume and 85% in value, according to figures released by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Vietnam’s tea exports are forecast to increase in both volume and value in the remaining months of 2017 due to growing global demand and limited supply.
Vietnam exported 48,000 tonnes of tea in the first five months of this year, raking in US$73 million, representing year-on-year increases of 14.3% in volume and 12.4% in value.
