#UN convention against cybercrime

At the UN Cybercrime Convention in Hanoi, Vietnam calls for stronger global cooperation to counter increasingly organized online fraud networks.

International delegates attending the UN Convention Against Cybercrime (the Hanoi Convention) Signing Ceremony in Vietnam have widely praised the country's pioneering role in promoting multilateral cooperation. They also expressed deep appreciation for the hospitality of the capital city’s people and the host nation’s effective security and safety arrangements.

This was the strong affirmation made by Kubrakov Ivan Vladimirovich, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, on the afternoon of October 25, on the sidelines of the Signing Ceremony for the United Nations Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes (the Hanoi Convention).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security co-hosted an international press conference to provide information on the upcoming Signing Ceremony of the United Nations (UN) Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention), on the afternoon of October 8, in Hanoi.
