A ceremony was held in Buenos Aires on April 25 (local time) to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Argentina diplomatic relations with the theme "Present and Future".

Argentine President Mauricio Macri has affirmed that Vietnam is an important partner of Argentina and his ongoing visit to the Southeast Asian country aims to consolidate bilateral relations and seek more cooperation opportunities to bring benefits to the people of both nations.

The Vietnam-Argentina Inter-governmental Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation held its 6th meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 25 and 26.
