The national scientific conference "Six teachings of President Ho Chi Minh - an invaluable heritage for the People's Public Security Forces" organized by the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the Central Commission on Information and Education, the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy and the Central Theoretical Council took place on the morning of March 9, 2023 in Hanoi.

The event saw the presence of Prof., Dr., General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; Politburo member, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Prof., Dr., Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia.

Presenting the topic of the meeting, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested, delegates should focus on analyzing Uncle Ho’s Six Teaching to the Public Security Forces and evaluate their theoretical and practical values, their human, scientific, revolutionary, ideological content, and their positive relationship and profound meaning to the current building of the People's Public Security Forces.

The conference organizers received 128 scientific reports from leaders of Central agencies, ministries, branches, experts, researchers, scientists inside and outside the forces.

Under the chair of Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General, Dr. Le Quoc Hung and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy Prof., Dr. Le Van Loi, delegates also discussed and analyzed Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings in depth.

Speaking at the conclusion session, Minister To Lam suggested that the Public Security Department of Science, Strategy and History should collaborate with relevant agencies and units inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces to conduct in-depth research on the value of the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh to the current times, contributing to completing the theory on the building of the People's Public Security Forces in the current situation.

The participating agencies and units should also daft guidelines for the People's Public Security Forces to more effectively implement the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, and better apply them to their training, work and fight against crime, firmly protecting national security and maintaining public order and safety.
