Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh works with Internal Political Security Department

PSNews - On the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces and the 15th “All People Protecting National Security” Festive Day, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh visited the Department of Internal Political Security on August 18.

The meeting also saw the presence of Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security and leaders from various units under the Ministry of Public Security.

At the event, Major General Dang Ngoc Tuyen, Director of the Department of Internal Political Security briefed the State Vice President and other delegates on the task performance results of the internal political security force over the past time.

Particularly, amid the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the internal political security force advised authorities at all levels to promptly disseminate correct information about the disease while strictly handling the spread of false information about the pandemic prevention and control and joining efforts with the whole country in fighting the pandemic.

Following the directions of Party Secretary General and State President Nguyen Phu Trong’s guidelines and the Party’s regulations, the internal political security force closely coordinated with relevant agencies to verify political qualifications of candidates for Party Committees at all levels.

At the meeting, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh passed the regards from Party Secretary General and State President Nguyen PhuTrong as well as extended her congratulations to all officers and soldiers of the department on the occasion of the Public Security Forces’ 75th founding anniversary.

Give the complex political situations in the region and the world, the Vice State President asked the department to strictly follow instructions of the Party on protecting national security in couple with maintaining internal political security.

She also requested the internal political security force to well perform its assigned tasks during Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress while effectively preventing acts of blackening officials or undermining internal solidarity.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked the Party, the State in general and the Vice State President in particular for their direction and care for the Public Security Forces in general and the Department of Internal Political Security in particular.

He promised to direct the department and the internal political security force to follow and concretize the State Vice President’s directions at the meeting into their working plans for the time to come.
