An inspection delegation of the Vietnam National Committee for Youth, led by its member, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security on May 25, had a working session with the Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee on the implementation of the laws, policies of the youth and youth-related affairs.

In the past years, Phu Yen province has launched and implemented many programs and plans on the implementation of the laws, policies of the youth and youth-related affairs. As a result, 100% of the province’s Youth Union cadres and 85% of the youths were provided with training courses on the Constitution, laws, Party’s resolutions while 100% of the cadres of the Youth Union were equipped with knowledge of State management of youth.
Meanwhile, all Youth Union members working in the armed forces were enrolled in courses on Marxism-Leninism as well as President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and style.
In addition, the Phu Yen provincial authorities also organized vocational training courses for 35,574 youths, created jobs for over 25,000 young people, and sent 120 young workers overseas.
Speaking at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh praised the results achieved by the province in the implementation of the laws, policies of the youth and youth-related affairs.
He urged Phu Yen province to continue to intensify the popularization of laws among young people, create appropriate mechanisms and policies to attract young workers well trained in professional schools to local agencies and organizations, while attaching importance to supporting vocational training for young workers.
Deputy Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee Phan Dinh Phung thanked the guidance and ideas of the delegation, saying that the provincial leadership will continuously focus on the implementation of the laws, policies of the youth and youth-related affairs, creating favorable conditions for the local youth to develop comprehensively.
