The cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and relevant US agencies in the field of security and order has been consolidated and developed positively, contributing to strengthening the strategic trust between the two countries.

The Minister suggested that in the coming time, the two sides should continue to promote cooperation in the fields of mutual interest, especially in prevention of economic crimes, drug-related crimes, hi-tech crimes, human trafficking, and child sexual abuse.

He also expressed hope that the US will facilitate Vietnam and other countries to get early access to COVID-19 vaccines after it has successfully researched and produced them.

For his part, Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink highly appreciated the fruitful results of the cooperation between the two sides over the past time in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The guest affirmed that, in his working position, he will strongly promote the cooperation ties between the US agencies and the Vietnamese MPS, contributing to deepening the bilateral cooperation relationship and ensuring the interests of the two nations, for peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.
