#combating human trafficking

The Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the People’s Committee of Hue City held a launching ceremony for the campaign “Joining Hands to Combat Human Trafficking” on July 31, in Hue City.

Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya shared the priorities highlighted in the Department of State’s 2024 Trafficking in Persons Report, acknowledging the positive steps Vietnam has taken to combat human trafficking and areas where the United States and Vietnam can cooperate to enhance collective efforts.
