The Federation of Labour of Ho Chi Minh City on January 19 handed free coach tickets and gifts to over 4,000 poor workers in industrial and export-processing zones in the city on the occasion of the coming traditional lunar New Year.

PSNews - The Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue under the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with US-based Cooperation UL on December 10 and 11 opened a training course on fire prevention and fighting risk assessment of industrial zones in central Vietnam for local firefighters. 

PSNews – The Mong Duong Industrial Zone is considered as a small town inside Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province, home to hundreds of agencies, units, enterprises, schools, and coal mining sites. Mong Duong used to be known as a hub of crimes, particularly organized crime, crime with the use of weapons, economic crime, drug-related crime and environmental crime.

PSNews- In addition to the establishment of two police stations in the Song Than Industrial Park and VSIP, the Binh Duong Provincial Police has focused on building up crime prevention models to curb criminal activities.

On December 9, a ground-breaking ceremony was held to relaunch construction of – An Duong Industrial Zone – the first joint venture between the northern Vietnam city of Hai Phong and the Chinese city of Shenzhen.

Da Nang - A shortage of kindergartens for the children of migrant labourers in Da Nang City-based industrial zones has put pressure on workers and authorities.
