 Korean expert Park Hang-seo will no longer coach the national football team after he leads the team at the coming AFF Cup 2022 and his existing contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) expires in January 2023.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on February 8 hosted a reception for head coach of the Vietnamese men’s football team Park Hang-seo, and leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).

Head coach of the national men’s football team Park Hang-seo met with more than 1,000 students in Viet Tri city of the northern province of Phu Tho on May 9.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on February 12 held an exchange with coach Park Hang-seo and some Vietnamese football players who are receiving injury treatment in the country.

The oil painting “My teacher” which portrays head coach of the Vietnamese national football team Park Hang-seo will be auctioned at Chon’s Auction House in downtown Hanoi on December 30.

Park Hang-seo said he would meet Republic of Korea and Vietnamese supporters’ expectations by keeping the ASEAN Football Federation Championship trophy at home on December 15 at the My Dinh Stadium.
