Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tu said he hopes the Korean tactician will continue accompanying Vietnam’s football teams and help them gain new successes at the qualification rounds of the AFC U-23 Championship 2020 and World Cup 2022, and SEA Games 2019.

Park said he planned a trip to Cambodia to follow the U-22 Southeast Asian Championship from February 17-26 with the participation of U-22 Vietnam football team.

His purpose is to seek new talented footballers to play for the U-23 team at the AFC U-23 Championship 2020 qualification round.

Park Hang-seo has become a hero of Vietnam’s football after leading the U-23 team to the finale of the AFC U-23 Championship 2018 in China.

He also led the national football team to win the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 and most recently enter the quarterfinals of the AFC Asian Cup 2019.
