An abundance of inexpensive engineers coupled with a fast growing economy makes the nation a highly attractive spot for startups, according to an article titled “Silicon Valley Talent Is Helping Grow Vietnam's Startup Hub” published on February 14 by Bloomberg.

The National Innovative Entrepreneurship Day (Techfest Vietnam 2022) was launched on March 22 to promote innovative solutions from start-ups amid strong technology development, thereby attracting greater resources from domestic experts, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and overseas Vietnamese.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the opening of the national festival for innovative startups TECHFEST and Week for Ho Chi Minh City Innovation, Startup and Entrepreneurship WHISE 2021 via videoconference in Hanoi on December 14.
