Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, on July 1 announced decisions on the appointment of 3 new vice directors of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of Hanoi Municipal Police, on January 28 led a delegation to inspect security protection of the 13th National Party Congress at the National Convention Center.

The Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) announced a decision on July 31 to appoint Major General Nguyen Hai Trung, Vice Permanent Chairman of the Inspection Committee under the Public Security Central Party Committee, as Director of Hanoi Municipal Police Department and a retirement decision to Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Municipal Police Department, starting from August 1.
