Carrying disaster relief to the Northern provinces seriously affected by Typhoon No.3, the Public Security Youth Union, Women’s Union and Trade Union visited forces participating in relief, search and rescue operations and presented necessities to people in affected provinces including Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai, on September 11th, 2024.

PSNews - As of April, over 17,680 workers who lost their jobs or had their working time reduced from October 2022 have received financial support with a total amount of 22.73 billion VND.

PSNews – Since the first model of  “self-managed security group at workers’ hostel was established by the Hanoi Confederation of Labor and the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, Hanoi has now 92 groups with over 20,000 active members.  

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 16 presided over a meeting on the working relations between the government and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour in 2021 and orientations for the next year.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 28 urged trade union organisations to revamp operation comprehensively and promote their role in guiding workers’ movements in the new situation.

The solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) and the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) over the past 22 years has contributed to deepening and diversifying relations between the two countries, the VGCL leader has said.

PSNews - The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department on November 20 said that they have recently presented some gratitude houses to families of public security heroic martyrs and police officers with difficulties in the locality.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on September 25 urged all-level trade unions to renew and improve the efficiency of their operation in the new situation.

PSNews - The General Department of Logistics and Techniques (GDLT) organized a meeting on October 12th to celebrate its 20th founding anniversary of its Trade Union organization, and to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister.
