PSNews - The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department on November 20 said that they have recently presented some gratitude houses to families of public security heroic martyrs and police officers with difficulties in the locality.

In particular, the Trade Union chapter of the Thua Thien Hue Police recently handed over a gratitude house to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Binh Thuan (residing at Thuy Phuong Ward, Huong Thuy Town). Therefore, the Trade Union chapter of the Thua Thien Hue Police mobilized its police officers and soldiers to donate their one-day pay along with donation from kind donors building support of the building of a gratitude house worth 80 million VND for Mrs. Thuan.

Earlier, under the authorization of the Minister of Public Security, the Thua Thien Hue Police had also held a ceremony to hand over a gratitude house to the family of public security heroic martyr Tran Xuan Mien (resident at Ha Uc Hamlet, Vinh An Commune), former Head of the Phu Vang District Police.

The family of public security heroic martyr Tran Xuan Mien has 8 martyrs and 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers. With the responsibility, sentiment and deep gratitude, the Ministry of Public Security offered 100 million VND to the family to build a new house.

Senior Colonel Le Van Vu, Deputy Director of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department affirmed that the handover of gratitude house to the family of heroic martyr Tran Xuan Mien reflected the Vietnamese traditional living philosophy "When drinking water, remember its source," helping the relatives of martyr Mien with a warm home to live and soon stabilize their life.
