Excellent Public Security Trade Union cadres in the South compete in final round

PSNews – The Executive Committee of the Trade Union organization of the Ministry of Public Security on May 23 held the final round of the excellent Trade Union cadre contest in the South.

The final night saw the presence of Major General Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work; Colonel Vu Manh Ha, Chairman of the Public Security Trade Union, Head of the organizing committee; and 13 teams from 13 trade union chapters of the police units in provinces, cities, schools and hospitals from Khanh Hoa southward.

The contest aimed at improving the working skills and practical experience of trade union cadres in consolidating and building their trade union chapters.

Besides, it was also an opportunity to promote the dissemination of labor laws and policies, and created a forum for trade union cadres to learn lessons from others and exchange experiences.

Speaking at the contest, Major General Nguyen Duc Minh welcomed the delegates, the candidates, judges and all participants to the finale.

He said that, throughout national history, the civilian officials working in the Public Security Forces (PSF) have always served as a direct production force and a combat support force. 

The Public Security Trade Union organization has well performed the functions of representing the public security civilian force, caring and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers working in public security units and businesses.

The contest was one of the activities of the Public Security Trade Union to mark the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament and the 74th Traditional Day anniversary of the Public Security Forces.
