Vietnam, New Zealand open new avenue for strategic research cooperation

PM Le Minh Hung called on the education sector to continue making strong changes in management mindset and teaching methods, putting learners at the centre, and viewing schools as the foundation, teachers as the driving force, families as a source of support and society as a resource accompanying education development.

The visit aims to promote parliamentary diplomacy between the two countries, contributing to breakthroughs in economic, trade and investment cooperation, particularly by making effective use of the new pillar of science and technology collaboration.

The official visit to Vietnam by the President of Myanmar and his spouse is expected to open up opportunities to further strengthen the Comprehensive Cooperative Partnership, particularly in the economy, trade, investment, science – technology, connectivity, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, bringing tangible benefits to both peoples and expanding cooperation within both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will pay a state visit to Russia and an official visit to France, and attend the International Space Summit in Paris from September 7 to 12.

The visit signals that both Vietnam and Russia attach great importance to their friendly cooperation, reflecting the aspirations and political will of their leaders and people to inherit and carry forward their long-standing traditional friendship, while sharing a strong determination to consolidate and deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Gillian Bird stressed the importance of translating the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership into tangible results for both countries. France attaches importance to Vietnam’s increasingly prominent role and position in the region and the international arena, and wishes to accompany Vietnam in its new era of development, said outgoing French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet.

The PM required ministries, agencies and localities to regularly review and update growth scenarios on a monthly and quarterly basis, proactively identify bottlenecks affecting growth targets and promptly remove them.

From an economy that has made strong use of integration opportunities, Vietnam is increasingly seen as a country capable of proactively creating development space, establishing its position in regional and global networks and making more substantive contributions to common issues.

The exhibition comprises two sections, focusing on preserving President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings in the hearts of the people and honouring those who have followed his example, highlighting his thought, morality and style, as well as outstanding individuals and collectives inspired by his teachings.

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed the Vietnamese people’s deep sympathy for the difficulties and losses suffered by the Chinese people, stressing the longstanding close friendship between the two countries, which are “comrades and brothers,” as well as the traditional cooperation between the VFF and the CPPCC.
