More than 15,000 Hyundai SantaFe cars assembled in Vietnam

PSNews- Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam company has officially released the 15,000th SantaFe model car from its factory in Ninh Binh province.

On this occasion, 105 black SantaFe car has been arranged up in the shape of number 15000 in the factory’s campus.

SantaFe is one of the most Hyundai's successful SUV in the global market and also in the Vietnamese market. The car is marked by eye-catching appearance, modern conveniences, powerful performance, durability and a fuel-saving engine.

The 15,000th SantaFe is a special oil version equipped with a CRDi diesel engine that uses the eVGT electronic variable speed electronic valve technology and capable of 202 horsepower at 3,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 441 Nm at 1750-2750 rpm.

Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam recently distributes 3 different versions of SantaFe, including 2 versions of gasoline engine and one standard oil engine version.

During the period of 2006-2013, more than 12,500 SantaFe vehicles were sold to customers in the form of imported complete units.

Based on positive feedbacks from the market, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam in 2014 decided to invest in the most modern SantaFe assembly line in Southeast Asia, which was directly imported from Hyundai Motor Corporation.

The new assembly line includes automatic paint systems, automatic welding systems with modern sensors, which can stop the whole line if there is a fault. The modern machinery will help all products reach the global quality standards, including SantaFe CKD model.

By June 2017, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam’s production line has assembled and released 15,000 units to the market. Retail sales of this car model always reach more than 400 units per month and tend to increase.

This has showed that Santafe, a modern safe and luxury car but at reasonable prices, is increasingly favorite in the Vietnamese market.

According to Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam, the company has planned to assemble more Hyundai's global cars to meet an increasing need of the Vietnamese market.

Mr. Le Ngoc Duc - General Director of Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam said that the company entered the Vietnamese automobile market in 2009, much later than other brands that had been present at the market for a long time. However, with its endless efforts and innovation, the Hyundai brand has gradually gained the trust of consumers.

“We will continue to distribute not only high quality products but also provide perfect after-sales services, to best satisfy our customers”, said Mr. Le Ngoc Duc, “We will also contribute to the development of the Vietnam automobile industry and the country economy".
