Photo exhibition on Vietnamese pagodas opens

PSNews - With the aim of preserving the beauty of Vietnamese cultural heritages while enhancing people's awareness on conservation activities, French photographer Nicolas Cornet has spent 3 years travelling across Vietnam, from the North to the South, and visited many temples and pagodas.

The photo exhibition themed “Vietnamese pagodas” was kicked off on November 9 at the French Cultural Center L’Espace, drawing the participation of domestic and foreign visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nicolas Cornet said: “I want to preserve the beauty of Vietnamese cultural heritages and to help Vietnamese people and whoever love Vietnamese culture “realize that temples and pagodas of Vietnam are an important part of the national cultural heritage”.

The exhibition reflects a journey to trace old temples in Vietnam held by French photographer Nicolas Cornet during the past three years.
