He stressed that the Vietnamese Government consistently creates favourable conditions for foreign investors, including Russian companies and corporations, to conduct stable and long-term business operations in the country. Trade and tourism exchanges between the two nations have become increasingly convenient, with a growing number of direct air routes connecting the two markets.

PM Hung also highlighted Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to improve its investment and business climate through institutional reforms and the issuance of new laws, resolutions and policies aimed at fostering a transparent, competitive and attractive environment for foreign direct investment (FDI).

For his part, Dmitriev thanked PM Hung for his support. He said Vietnam is a fast-growing economy with strong investment appeal.

He said RDIF has established partnerships and signed cooperation agreements with Vietnamese counterparts to promote investment in scientific research, biomedical technology transfer and vaccine production. He also expressed interest in working with Vietnam to supply vaccines for both domestic demand and the broader regional market.

According to Dmitriev, considerable untapped potential remains in bilateral cooperation. He voiced hope that the Vietnamese Government would continue supporting Russian enterprises, including the RDIF, in strengthening their engagement with the Vietnamese market.

The two sides agreed that the current context presents significant opportunities for businesses from both countries and stressed the importance of effectively implementing existing agreements while expanding cooperation into new and promising areas.

On the occasion, PM Hung invited Dmitriev to visit Vietnam at an early date to explore investment opportunities and hold direct exchanges with Vietnamese partners./.
