According to organizers, Smart IoT Vietnam 2018 consists of three seminars and one plenary session. During the events, delegates will focus on three topics of “Ensuring network security and security in the IoT era", "IoT applications in smart metropolis" and "IoT and the revolution in manufacturing."

As part of the Smart IoT Vietnam 2018, ABB Vietnam showcases its latest IoT technologies built on the ABB Ability™ digital offering including a demo of ABB’s smart factory in Bac Ninh province, Vietnam, ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor and ABB Ability™ Data Center Automation virtual reality exploration.

The ABB smart factory demo illustrates how ABB Ability™ solutions enable data connectivity and analytics of its factory operation in Bac Ninh. Its online availability of support from device to process expert helps reach quick resolutions for unwanted situations. Coupling the remote access with new technologies, such as ABB Ability™ Manufacturing Operation Management, ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor, ABB Ability™ Electrical Distribution Control, to name but a few, facilitates earlier detection and better diagnosis of problems, and faster services, contributing improving the plan-making process and efficiency of the factory.

The technology demonstration will also present ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor for motors, the workhorse of many industries. The sensor converts traditional motors, pumps and mounted bearings into smart, wirelessly connected devices by transmitting data of vibration, temperature, loads and power consumption to the cloud.  It makes monitoring the condition of each motor in a plant simple and affordable – tracking the motor’s health and performance is as simple as opening a smartphone application and help reduce downtime and energy consumption at the same time extends the motors’ lifespan.

With the virtual reality tour of ABB Ability™ Data Center Automation, event-goers can explore intelligent solutions for the data center industry to support continuous operation, space saving, efficiency, safety and security. ABB’s data center solutions are designed for heavy-duty applications and the world’s ever-increasing data demands, satisfying the need for better data in various industries.

Also at the event, ABB will deliver a keynote presentation titled “Transforming the smart manufacturing model with advanced IoT solution “at the conference “Internet of Things and the Smart Manufacturing Revolution”. Through the keynote, ABB will share its deep expertise and experience in manufacturing and factory revolution in the digital era.
