#Transnational Crime

As a member of a high-ranking delegation accompanying Party General Secretary To Lam on his State visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Cambodia Sar Sokha on the afternoon of February 6 in Phnom Penh.

The 18th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC 18) officially opened on August 28th, in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang leading a high-ranking delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam had a meeting with Minister of the Interior of Hungary Sandor Pinter, on the afternoon of January 18, 2024 (local time).

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), led a Vietnamese MPS delegation to attend consultation meetings in the framework of the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC), namely  the 8th AMMTC Plus China, the 6th AMMTC Plus Japan, and AMMTC Plus 3.

The ASEAN Senior Officials Meetings on Transnational Crime (SOMTC) in preparation for the 15th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC 15) and relevant events was hosted by Brunei Darussalam – the Chair of ASEAN in 2021 in the form of a video conference.

Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Organizing Board of the 14th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC 14), chaired the first meeting of the board on November 17 in Hanoi.

A delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Son, Director of the Foreign Relation Department on September 24 attended the virtual 20th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC-20) chaired by Philippines.
