After their hard working days reporting on the 2nd DPRK-US Summit in Hanoi, some 3,000 reporters from domestic and foreign news and media agencies have surely achieved certain "spoils" that may be exclusive interviews, images and breaking news.

Empathizing for their hard work, the host country of Vietnam has decided to present them two meaningful souvenirs, namely a special stamp collection and a ceramic pattern of the Vietnamese ancient-time bronze drum. By offering the gifts, Vietnam would like to say "thank you" to international reporters for reporting this important event in Vietnam, which would contribute to promoting Hanoi - City for Peace.

The Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 26 launched a special stamp collection named "DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit". The stamp was designed by artists Nguyen Du and To Minh Trang of the Vietnam Post.

With its special artistic language, the stamp conveys the message of “Vietnam - A safe and friendly destination” and “Hanoi – City for Peace” to international friends.

At the same time, it also confirms the role of Vietnam as a responsible United Nations member country, a reliable partner of the international community in promoting peace, stability and development.

The highlight of the stamp is the US and DPRK leaders’ hand-shake on the background of Vietnamese peaceful and friendly bamboos. On the left side stands Vietnam’s flag and a dove -the symbol of peace with the phase “partnership for sustainable peace”.
