Iran released of its newest self developed Zofaqar missle system

IRAN - Tehran  on Wednesday released of  its latest self-developed long-range ballistic missile system, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported.

Zolfaqar, Iran’s newest long-range missile was unmasked in the Southern port city of Bandar Abbas during national parades of the Sacred Army Forces Week, pay tribute to martyrs in Iran-Iraq war (from 1980-88) 36 years ago.

It is equipped a Multiple Reentry Vehicle (MRV) warhead, and can rains down on ground targets with a high precision.

Iran also unveiled two home-made Khatam 5 and Khatam 7 missile systems during the parades.

Khatam 5 and Khatam 7 missile systems are very flexible, can trace, track and devastate enemy targets with a high maneuverable level.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has recently released of a Maryr Nazeri vessel, which is designed for far-distance missions and carrying  dozens of attack helicopters.

Representative units of Iran Islamic Republic Army, The IRGC, Basij and Law Enforcement Police participated in the parades.

Foreign delegates as well as military and civilian officials were also present in the ceremony.

The latest military and defense crests made by Iranian experts were displayed at the parades, including long-range missile systems: Qadar F and Sejjil (2.000 km), Qadr H and Emad (1.650 km), smart bombs: Qassed, Qaem, Nasr, Fakour 90 and torpedoes…

Scores of other new products including different types of modernized tanks, armors, missile and rocket launchers, electronic, communications and CentCom systems as well as the long-range S-200 and S-300 air defense missile systems, mid-range Shalamche and Mersad missile systems.
