1,400 returnees from Hai Duong to Hanoi test negative for SARS-CoV-2

Up to 1,400 people returning to Hanoi from Cam Giang district in the northern province of Hai Duong following the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet, have tested negative for novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the capital’s Department of Health.

As of February 18 Hanoi’s administration has successfully identified over 1,900 people travelling from Cam Giang district in Hai Duong province to Hanoi since January 15. Among them, 1,800 people have samples taken for a quick test, with 1,400 individuals testing negative for SARS-CoV-2.
