Hundreds of houses in Bac Giang inundated by flood water

Hundreds of homes in Luc Ngan district of the northern province of Bac Giang have been left submerged in flood water following a period of torrential rain.

According to Nguyen The Thi, vice chairman of the People's Committee of Luc Ngan district, widespread floods from Lang Son province and heavy rains which began at midnight of May 9 caused water levels of local rivers to rise rapidly.
