PSNews - Today (November 7), Russia marks its 101st anniversary
of October Revolution. It is considered an important event with meaningful lessons. Creatively applying experience and historical lessons of the Russian October Revolution, the Communist Party of Vietnam under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh led the Vietnamese August Revolution to its success in 1945.
The October Revolution officially known in Soviet literature as the Great October Socialist Revolution and commonly referred to as Red October, the October Uprising, the Bolshevik Revolution or the Bolshevik Coup, was a revolution in Russia led by the Bolsheviks and Vladimir Lenin that was instrumental in the larger Russian Revolution of 1917.

The revolution brought new light to Vietnam since the country’s resistance war against the French colonialists were experiencing profound changes and the working class was developing strongly and involving in the political arena, helping put an end to the crisis of national liberation in the early 20th century.
