PVN exceeds its first half of 2019 plan

By the end of the first six months of 2019, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has basically completed the set the targets and plans for the first half of the year.

It continues to improve the business restructuring, enhance labor productivity and competitiveness, and ensure social security and welfare for its workers.

The electricity generation reached 11.52 billion kWh, 246 million kWh (2.2%) higher than the plan, nitrogen fertilizer production reached more than 705,800 tons, up by 71,000 tons (11.2%) against the plan and petroleum production reached 5.66 million tons, 48,000 tons (0.9%) higher than the plan.

The total turnover of PVN was 365.5 trillion VND, 18% higher than the 6-month plan and equal to 60% of the year plan.

Meanwhile, it paid 53.5 trillion VND of tax, up by 16% against the 6-month plan and equal to 61% of the year plan.

The preservation of capital rate was good by June 30, 2019 (Its preservation of capital reach 470 trillion VND on June 30, 2019 compared to 465.5 thousand billion VND on January 1, 2019)

In addition, all projects invested in by PVN and its affiliates have been strictly supervised.
