As a member of a high-ranking delegation accompanying President Luong Cuong on his State visit to Egypt, Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung met with Secretary-General of the International Cooperation Committee under the National Security Agency, Ministry of Interior of Egypt Sherief Abdel Fattah on August 4 (local time), in Cairo.

Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam received Chairman of the National Security Council of the Republic of the Philippines Eduardo Manahan Año, on the afternoon of January 29, in Hanoi.
