The two sides also agreed to closely coordinate to ensure the security and safety of their citizens living, studying and working in each other’s countries, while promoting cooperation in training and capacity-building of law enforcement officers, especially those to join UN peacekeeping forces, through courses at Egyptian training centers.

The Egyptian side promised to offer Arabic language training courses to Vietnamese officers, and invite Vietnamese police officers to participate in seminars, workshops and training programs on counter-terrorism and other specialized areas hosted by Egyptian law enforcement agencies.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung extended an invitation to the leadership of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior to pay an official visit to Vietnam and attend the Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime (the Hanoi Convention), scheduled in October 2025 in Hanoi.
