Vietnam Airlines increases over 100 flights to serve APEC

PSNews - On Novermber 6-11 when Danang hosts the APEC Economic Leaders’s Week, Vietnam Airlines will operate over 50 flights per day on Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City – Danang routes (one flight every 30 minutes).

According to spokesperson of Vietnam Airlines Le Hoang Dung, as a special partner of APEC 2017 in the air transport sector, Vietnam Airlines planned to increase over 100 flights from October 5 to November 13, serving APEC activities and growing demand of customers.

As planned, Vietnam Airlines will run nearly 110 additional flights with over 20,000 seats on Hanoi/ho Chi Minh City – Danang routes, rising its seats to 400,000.

The Hanoi - Danang route has 64 additional flights, an average over 4,800 seats per day, while the Ho Chi Minh City - Danang route sees 44 flights, an average of nearly 6,000 seats per day.

On Novermber 6-11 when Danang hosts the APEC Economic Leaders’s Week, Vietnam Airlines will operate over 50 flights per day on Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City – Danang routes (one flight every 30 minutes).

This plan will surely achieve positive results as meeting requirements of travel demand of delegates from 21 APEC economies as well as visitors to Danang for relevant activities and staff serving the preparation of the  event.

Duong Tri Thanh, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, said that by offering a readiness in time-table, technical maintenance and crew, the company will exert all-out efforts to serve the rush period during the APEC event, as well as keep stabilizing its normal schedule to serve passengers.
