PSNews - 80 beauties from all over the world competing at the Miss Grand International 2017 hosted by Vietnam showed up at the Gala Dinner themed “Secret of Beauty Revealed”, organized in Ho Chi Minh City on October 8.

This is part of a series of activities of the Miss Grand International 2017 in Vietnam. Huyen My, 1st runner-up at the Miss Vietnam 2016, represents Vietnam at the beauty pageant.

The dinner also saw the attention of various celebrities of Vietnam, including supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, designer Ly Qui Khanh, MC Phuong Mai…

The night offered candidates for the Miss Grand International 2017  beauty real chance to exchange with one another and show off their beauty.

Miss Grand International is currently among the 5 major beauty pageants in the world. Organized for the first time in 2013 in Thailand, the beauty pageant has now become the 3rd largest beauty contests, after Miss Universe (since 1952) and Miss World (since 1951).

This year’s contest, which is themed “Ending war and violence”, runs from October 5 to 26 in Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Binh and Phu Quoc (Kien Giang).

In addition to the talent, national costume, evening gowns and bikini shows normally seen at other beauty contests, Miss Grand International also features charity activities and verbal presentation competition in which beauties from countries act as their country spokesperson for peace.

The Miss Grand International 2017 will receive a reward of $ 40.000 in cash.

The Miss Grand International 2017’s Jury Board include several Vietnamese celebrities including Ly Nha Ky, Giang My and designer Si Hoang.
