Recently, the Da Nang Municipal Department of Tourism held a press conference to announce the program of "Enjoy Da Nang Summer Festival 2022". Accordingly, the program will feature a series of street carnivals, culinary activity and large-scale music festivals.

Addressing at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People's Committee Tran Phuoc Son stated that, the summer of 2022 is considered a rebirth milestone of Da Nang's tourism industry after more than 2 years of COVID-19 pandemic, affirming the strong breakthrough of the city on the Han River.

The highlight of the festival will be large-scale music festivals, such as "Living like the sun", "Take Me to the Sun", along with street carnivals and culinary programmes that feature the participation of international art troupes. In particular,  the summer festival will be organized a fireworks show which is scheduled to take place at Sun Wheel in Asian Park of Hai Chau district.

These events will be opened from June 11 - August 15 along the banks of the Han river, An Thuong nightlife, My An night beach and Sun World Ba Na Hills etc. 

Earlier, the Routes Asia 2022 took place in Da Nang from June 6 to June 8, drawing over 500 delegates from 200 international aviation agencies and organisations in 42 countries and territories globally. On the sidelines of Routes Asia 2022 was also an exhibition featuring 43 booths to help introduce Vietnamese culture and tourism to international friends.
